AUTOTESTCON 2007

September 20, 2007 saw the conclusion of one of the most successful AUTOTESTCONs in history.   In addition to a great four-track technical program, this year we had a record 284 exhibition booths that filled our 85,000 sq ft exhibit hall in the Baltimore Convention Center.   The many social events were enjoyed by all:  the Wine and Cheese Reception on Monday, lunch featuring crab cakes in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, the Exhibitors' reception Tuesday evening, the Wednesday lunch featuring Baltimore's emmy-winning personality Bob Heck, Oktoberfest at the National Aquarium Wednesday evening capped by a wonderful fireworks display, and the awards luncheon on Thursday.

We worked hard to ensure that AUTOTESTCON 2007 would be memorable, and I'm confident we succeeded.  I'm very proud of everyone who contributed to our success - the authors, the staff at the convention center, our exhibition company, the caterers, the hotels, and, of course, our committee and many volunteers.  I also applaud our promotional partners (especially our GOLD level partners:  AAI, Aeroflex, EADS-NA, GeoTest, Indra, Northrop Grumman and Teradyne, and our SILVER level partners:  Agilent, CMA, and DRS) without whose contributions we could not have provided such a fine conference.

To all who played a part in the success of AUTOTESTCON 2007, you have my most sincere appreciation.

See you next year at AUTOTESTCON 2008 in Salt Lake City!
